Shoppers increasingly ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity what to buy. Agentic Catalog Repair probes an answer engine to measure whether those answers cite your store, shows the product-data gaps behind it, and fixes them — safely, inside Shopify.

How it works

1. Measure

   Scan your owned product evidence, then probe a real answer engine — measured with Gemini probes — to see how often your store is cited for catalog questions. It's a measured citation rate, not an estimate from product counts.

2. Repair

   Review the specific product-data gaps (missing specs, structured data, FAQ context) and approve fixes that write back through Shopify's official GraphQL API. Live writes are limited to the fields you approve.

3. Verify

   Re-probe after changes to confirm the gaps closed. Everything outside your approved scope stays preview, explanation, and audit only.

Agentic Catalog Repair is in public preview. These are the current boundaries of what it can do in Shopify Admin.

• The dashboard uses Shopify catalog evidence, rendered PDP checks, imported diagnostics, and configured query context; external answer-engine checks require configured provider access.
• Only missing barcode/GTIN and approved AI product content fixes can execute live Shopify Admin mutations.
• Price, availability, policy, B2B, theme, and structured-data workflows are preview/audit-only.
• Merchant Center support is CSV/manual import only; no Google OAuth or Merchant Center API integration is enabled.
• The app does not intentionally store customer records.
• Rendered PDP diagnostics depend on storefront and theme accessibility.
